This is my pepeha. A pepeha is not as long as mihi. You would not use your pepeha when you go to a marae. My pepeha has my name, where I am from and where I live now. I am from Christchurch. I now live in Hokitika. I learnt how to get a macron. To get a macron you go to insert speical characters and write in macron. Then you chose the letter you need with a macron. Make sure you click where you want you macron to go. Do you know your pepeha?
Kai pai Renny. I sometimes have to do a brief pepeha when I go to work meetings. And I also have to use macrons in my work emails and reports. I am also learning how pronounce the opening and closing karakia for meetings too. I find it challenging but think I am slowly getting better.
