All About Me

Hi my name is Renny. I go to Kaniere School and I am a year 3 student. My age is 7. My best friends are Lucy and Olivia. I have two cats and three sheep. My favourite animal is a giraffe. My favourite food is pizza with barbecue sauce. I like playing on the flying fox at school with my friends. I am looking forward to doing more reading this year. I want to get better at Reading punctuation. I am also looking forward to doing Athletics. I am good at running and writing and reading. I enjoy doing art and reading chapter books. My favourite game is wink wink murder. I like going to the swimming pool.

Up Over The Tens

I have been learning to work out the number that is in the middle in the question. I had to show the first number in the question and then find the number in the middle of the question. I did this by using the total.

Cybersmart

We have been learning to be Cybersmart. We needed to write how to look after our chromebook. To keep your chrome book safe you have to shut your lid when you carry it. You need to be at the right place at the right time. Always shut done your chromebook when your done because someone could go on your account and write not nice comments on other peoples blogs.

Maths

I learnt what a rhombus is. The shapes in my picture are rhombus, squares, triangles, hexagon rectangles and a trapezium.

Up Over Tens

I was learning to use materials to show how I worked the a problem out. I learnt that 17 + ?= 24. I had to count on from 17 to 24 to work out the problem.

Art

First we got a big piece of paper. Then we dyed the paper. Then we had to let the paper dry. Then we wrote about ourselves. Then we had to get the writing printed off. Next we had to get a photo taken and we had to get our photo printed. Then we had to glue our photo and writing to the piece of paper. I think that I could work on cutting out the writing. I think that I did a good job at gluing my photo and writing on. I like dying the paper because you could chose which colour you wanted.
