Whitebaiting

On Sunday we went whitebaiting at a river south of Ross. We went with Willam, Sierra, Akeyla, Finnian, Mark, Dad, Suzie , Tony and Mia. We caught one pound. After that we made a bonfire. There was a girls fire and a boys fire. We had whitebait for dinner.  We had toasted Marshmallows on the fire for pudding, they were sticky and I liked buring mine.  When it got dark we played spot light. It was fun. The next day we went on the kayaks in a small lagoon, the water was clear but cold.  There was also some sinking sand and mud that we played in.

  1. Hi Renny, Mum here. Good blog post on your whitebaiting trip. Hopefully next time I can stay the night too. Do you think we could all squeeze in the tent? I thought the water was freezing and that sticky mud felt gross between my toes.
