Symmetry

Today we learnt about symmetry.  We had to chose the symmetry in different car logos. There was reflective, rotational and translational. We had to put the lines of symmetry in the logos. Here it one of my car logos with symmetry. It is reflective. This means if you put a mirror on the line it would be the same on each side.   A BMW and a Mazda. A Mazda comes from japan.  A BMW comes from Germany.

  2. Kia ora Renny,
My name is Kieryn and I will be working with Kaniere School to comment on your blog posts over the next two terms.
This is such a fantastic post you have created here about symmetry! I really like how you have mentioned the three different types of symmetry, and explained the type which you used in the image below. Perhaps you could edit your blog post and include a short explanation of rotational and translational symmetry?
You mentioned how you used car logo’s to learn about symmetry. Which car logo is in the image you have included?
You have done an excellent job here!
