Kawa Of Care Poster

This week we had a look at the Kawa of care rules. They were really boring so we made our own ones that were bright and interesting. We did our poster in pairs. I was with Kaya. We made our poster by using Canva. I liked choosing the different fonts.  Is there anything you think I could do to improve it? If there is what is it?

Harmony flew on a bubble at the beach. We made an animation together. Harmony drew a picture on explain everything of her in a bubble . I learnt how you draw on explain everything. Book Creator

For cybersmart we had to make a comic on Book Creator. My comic was about having a quality conversation with my friend. I asked questions so she could answer back and the conversation went on longer. We got to chose the back round and shape of our comic.  My favourite part was adding the photos.  The hardest part was getting the speech bubbles the right size. Have you ever done Book Creator before?

Sort The Comment

This is a goggle drawing of good and bad comments. We had to put  thumbs up or thumbs down sign depending if it was a good or bad comment. We did it in pairs. I was with Rhys. We did this for cybersmart. A good comment is positive, thoughtful, kind, helpful and you can ask a question. We are learning to recognise a quality blog comment and give reasons for our thinking.

Tangrams

This is a tangram. I had a selection of shapes and then I had to fill in the black. I could flip and roatate shapes.   I found doing the tangrams hard.  It was challenging because we had an amount of shapes and we could not make more.    Have you done a tangram before?

Cybersmart

We have been learning to be Cybersmart. We needed to write how to look after our chromebook. To keep your chrome book safe you have to shut your lid when you carry it. You need to be at the right place at the right time. Always shut done your chromebook when your done because someone could go on your account and write not nice comments on other peoples blogs.

Self Portrait

Description: The best images to use on our posts are ones we have created ourselves or our own photos. We have been using Google Drawing to create our own and have learnt how to use new tools to make a self portrait. We took a selfie and had to make sure we had our head and shoulders in the picture before we fitted it to the page. Next we used the polyline tool to draw around our face because it is the only line tool that you can colour in. This was tricky because you had to use the polyline in small bits. Next we had to match our skin colour and then we went into the custom tool so we could make our fill transparent. We did this so we could trace round our mouth and our nose. We used the magnifying tool to zoom in so it was easier to do my nose and mouth. I’m happy with the way my eyes looks on my self portrait because the center is almost the same colour. I will have to work on my mouth. Thank you for reading my blog post. Have you ever tried to draw your own self portrait? If not, I hope you will have a go and share your effort with me.
